'You' being. . . I'm not really sure. Does anyone read this thing anyway? If you do, you should let me know. . . so I'm not 'talking' to myself. :)
Anyway, back to Florida.
When Sunday came about, I was a happy person. Why? Because we were going to my favorite park: Magic Kingdom.
Remember when I wrote about loving Disney World because it makes you feel like a kid again? Well this is THE place to do that. Sure the other parks are just as fun, and have their own perks, but this is the one that I magane to look forward to every time we go.
It is at this park that you can see those well-known characters walking around, stand in line just to fly away in a ship to Neverland, and see all of the little girls running around in their princess dresses. And the best part is that you have an excuse to be excited about all of it.
Like I mentioned before, everyone around this place is so friendly, just like this guy:
Overall during the week we got very lucky with the amount of people that were there: the first few days especially, hardly anyone was there.
But as the day went on, it began to get pretty busy, as it was prime Spring Break time.
On Tuesday, the day before we left, they actually closed one the parks because it physically had too many people in it. Good thing we had gotten everything done by then.
But we still had fun.
The crowd did quickly clear when it started pouring down rain; however. And yes, we were part of that crowd. It began raining probably the hardest I've ever seen, and because the park was open until 3 am that day (thanks to extra magic hours), we figured we would go back if the rain had let up.
So we ventured downtown: where all the shopping is.
Now, it was Tommy's turn to be in Heaven with all of the lego figures, and even an entire lego store.
Later that night, as the rain did let up a little, we were back to the park for some fireworks and a parade.
And yes, we did end up staying in the park until 3 am. :)
