Saturday, June 12th was a busy day in our house.
It was a day that we had been busy working toward: busy cleaning, busy organizing, and busy shopping for.
On this day, it all came together, and we celebrated by throwing a housewarming party.
It began the night before, spending the evening with large shopping trips to Costco and Winco, and a lot of 'prep' work.
I honestly don't think I've ever cut so much celery in my life.

The next morning began early: finishing last minute touch-ups, vaccuming, and preparing for our first event of the day: a wedding shower for my good friend Megan.The shower went without flaws, and we had a good time.
After the shower, we got busy putting out the second round of food, getting ready for our housewarming party.
We had a great time at the party. My only regret was that I didn't get to talk to everyone more!
Overall, it was a really good day, and I thank everyone for coming!
