We're Leavin' On A Jet Plane . . .

I apologize for the severe lack of posting lately.

I have plenty to tell you all about, but just haven't found the time to sit down and sort through my thoughts and pictures. Life has been busy busy busy!

And the next week isn't going to be any better. We are headed to the airport tomorrow to take off to Vegas!

Trust me, we are very excited for this much needed trip.

So needless to say, I will have to leave you all in suspense for a bit longer (yeah right :)

But when we return, I'm sure I will have an endless amount of pictures and memories to share, so beware . . .

Another Bunch of Mumble Jumble

** Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We had a great day of swimming, relaxing, food and family. I was somewhat upset with myself; however, that I managed to forget to bring my camera. So that means I have no pictures to show what fun we had. I suppose you are going to have to trust me this time. But really, it was a great day!

** Unfortunately Kelsey didn't make it at Disney. I do have to say though, that altough I know she's upset about it, I'm secretly excited. Now I will not be loosing my sister to the other side of the country for the next 8 months. I will be able to enjoy her birthday with her, and keep the celebrating going through the next however many months. I will be able to spend time with her whenever I want to, and not have to wait for a phone call or visit to just talk to her. So although I know she was really looking forward to it, I'm slightly relieved.

** Speaking of her birthday, it's just over two weeks until we leave for Vegas. Let me tell you that I'm slightly excited about this. . .

** This weekend has in store for us a road trip to Seattle to see Aladdin, and of course to the cabin. So stay tuned for more pictures . . .

Regardless of what it is, she is attempting to make that goal a reality, and is headed to Disneyworld to try out.

How cool would it be to be able to say that my sister is a dancer in Disneyworld?!

So this is a good luck wish to her. I know she will do great!

(And who knows, perhaps this will lead to another family vacation in our near future?!)

Another weekend was partially spent at the cabin again.

Imagine that.

But this time, we had some very special guests with us.

And of course we had a great time.

We did all sorts of fun things, including taking a nice hike to show Connor a "secret meadow" that Joel had found. And boy did they have fun!

It's Bed Time . . .

It's no secret that Westin prefers to sleep in our bed. At any time of the day, if he isn't found running around or chewing on a bone, he is found lounging around . . . in our bed.

And his favorite spot?

Would be, of course, my pillow.
