Thanksgiving 2010 was full of amazing food, some football, great friends and family, and lots of full bellies.
This year's dinner marked the first full-cooked meal for my mom to make in her brand new kitchen. You see, they have been remodeling for the past many months, and the kitchen was done just in time for the feast. The only downfall to using new appliances for the first time when cooking for so many people is the fact that they may not work 100%. Because of this, part of our Thanksgiving was spent trying to figure out how to get the oven to actually warm the food . . .
Luckily, the food was warm for the most part, and we were able to enjoy everything.
While my mom spent her time in the kitchen, my dad ended up spending his time here, as he has been down with a nasty cold bug for almost a week . . . . . . but is fortunately feeling a lot better now.
Overall, it was a great Thanksgiving . . .
Now, let the Christmas festivities begin!
